Clotilde Desclèves

Founder & french teacher

Passionate about French civilization and literature, I studied the fundamentals of our beautiful language at the famous Parisian university, the Sorbonne. My passion for the French language and culture was very strong, and I wanted to share it! So I headed for the Alliance Française de Paris, where I qualified as a French teacher in 2004.

I went on to teach at Alliance Française, in higher education, and in various international companies. I have been a DELF and DALF examiner.

In 2014, I started teaching French online and at home, and “EasyLearnFLE” was born in 2019. I gradually developed partnerships with international companies and research centers.

In 2022, I developed a new concept: language stays! Holidays with your teacher, the ideal formula for combining learning and immersion in real French life.

Quality certification

My courses follow the CEFR syllabus, which is the European basis for language teaching.

  • Level A : elementary user: discovery (A1) and everyday (A2) levels.
  • Level B : independent user: intermediate (B1) and advanced (B2) levels.
  • Level C : experienced user: autonomous (C1) and proficient (C2) levels.

EasyLearnFLE is registered with the DREETS and authorized to prepare official exams.

My teaching methods

My approach to learning the French language focuses on oral and written expression, with emphasis on fundamental grammar, conjugation and phonetics. The material is varied, dynamic and mostly authentic (articles, radio, audios, videos). I love to share my passion for French, and help you discover its riches… and its countless exceptions!

My favorite pastime is playing the piano… And learning a foreign language is a bit like playing an instrument: you have to take your time, love the sounds, be rigorous and have a good sense of humor!

Depending on your level of French and your desires, I’ll draw up a tailor-made program that will quickly enable you to progress and speak clear, well-constructed French. I’m always on the lookout for new articles and topical issues: this allows me to constantly re-create my lessons to be as close as possible to you and the subjects that interest you.
